Leather Winter

I always feel that if you’re gonna be uncomfortable and unhappy in something, just because you think it’s in or it’s chic, I would advise you to be happy rather than well-dressed. It’s better to be happy.”

— Iris Apfel

I never wear anything that I am not 100% comfortable in. I never wear anything that makes me question my clothing choices for the day. And I never wear anything that makes me unhappy.

I believe that while fashion is important for a first impression, it is just as important, if not more, to be comfortable in your own skin.

You can be wearing the most branded clothing items, but if you aren't happy, then the clothes you wear will not be happy being on you either.

In this outfit, I stick with not only comfort, but also warmth and style.

This thrifted jacket is leather, but is is also extremely warm because of it's lining. It makes the jacket thick, and keeps the wind from hitting me. Throwing that on top of a warm shirt and wearing leggings, I don't know what can be more comfortable.

What perhaps looks uncomfortable is the shoes, and I swear that they feel very comfortable. The shoes give my outfit that pop of color and a different texture with the suede. It makes a otherwise boring outfit look stylish and chic.

I am absolutely not saying that you need to go crazy for a pair of shoes, but I believe shoes can truly complete an outfit or make it look unplain.

What item in your closet do you feel completes your look? I would love to know!
